Dharma Book Study

The Gay Buddhist Sangha sponsors a weekly meeting at the home of one of our members (conveniently located in the Castro) on Thursdays from 7:30-9:00 p.m. We start with meditation, then discuss the reading for the evening. It is not necessary to have read the material beforehand, since the discussion becomes more experiential after some initial comments are shared. The group has been meeting for five years now and varies in size from 6 to 15 members. Over 130 members of the Yahoo group from all over the world enjoy reading along with us. 

We are currently reading "No Time To Lose: A Timely Guide to the Way of the Bodhisattva" by Pema Chodron.

The group exemplifies the meaning of Sangha as we share our lives and our practice and provide support and encouragement to each other.
